MSU-N rodeo heads to Bozeman to begin the second half of its season

It's time for the Montana State University-Northern Rodeo teams to get back in the saddle.

The Lights and Skylights resume Big Sky Region competition this weekend with the annual Montana State University Rodeo in Bozeman.

The Lights have a deep roster this year with Taylor Young in bull riding and bareback, Lincoln Yarama in roping and steer wrestling, Rope, Justin and Hance Three Irons in team roping, Chance Story in roping, Cory Nugent in roping, Gavin McLean in roping, Hunter Henderson in roping, Ethan Frasier in bareback riding, Cameron Falcon in bull riding, Garrett Cunningham in saddle bronc riding and Tobin Cummins in roping.

The MSU-N women's team, which qualified for the 2022 CNFR, features Allee Bartlett in roping, Brittany Bo Cox of Chinook in barrel racing, Skyler Connelly in barrels and roping, Skylee Dirden of Harlem in roping and barrels, Elli Linder in barrels, Tallinn Lindsey in barrels, Taylissa Lytle in roping and barrels, Jill Marcenko in all-around, Peyton Mullinax in roping, Cece Reid in barrels, Mikenna Schauer in all-around, Kendra Staham in all-around and Tori Yeager in roping.

The Northern Rodeo teams, led by head coach Doug Kallenberger, will also travel to Miles City for the Miles Community College Rodeo and to the University of Montana Rodeo in Missoula this month.
