Hill County Commission voices Mount Royal TV support

The Hill County Commission voiced its support for the Mount Royal TV Board to purchase a new tower south of Havre during their weekly business meeting Thursday morning.

Hill County Commission Chair Mark Peterson said the commission supports the potential purchase which will bring essential services to the residents of eastern Hill County.

Peterson said it will take time and coordination to purchase the tower and associated facility and get it up and running, and if anyone has any questions about the matter they can get in touch with the commission.

The commission also voted to approve a new credit card for the Hill County Road Department with a $5,000 credit limit, and a certificate of survey for Havre resident Ron Harmon, which Peterson said he forgot to put on the agenda last week.

The commission also announced that Hill County Commissioner Sheri Williams will be out of state through next Friday.
