Havre Police Department

David Richard Place of Rudyard, 55, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a Monday 11:58 a.m. caller on First Street West reported that they think they found a saw that was stolen over the weekend, now for sale at a local pawn shop.

A theft was reported by a caller at a First Street business Monday at 5:31 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Grant Avenue caller reported Monday at 7:59 p.m. seeing movement in a house that is supposed to unoccupied.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 72nd Avenue West caller reported a theft Friday at 9:14 a.m.

A two-vehicle crash without injuries, reported at mile marker 378 Friday at 5:41 p.m., was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

A call about a vehicle disabled in the road after hitting a deer at mile marker 376 on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to MHP.

Three arrests were made after a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 East Saturday at 8:34 p.m. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but two people named as involved parties were listed in Sunday's jail roster: Derek Dean Henderson of Box Elder was being held on a charge of failure to comply, and was still being held this morning, and Stormie Laine Eagleman of Box Elder was being held on a charge of violation of conditions of release. The third person arrested was not named in the dispatch log.

Joshua David Rainingbird of Box Elder, 41, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants and a state District Court warrant after being transported Saturday at 8:36 p.m. from Rocky Boy Detention Center to Hill County Detention Center.

A Sunday at 12:47 p.m. caller at 22nd Avenue West reported a vehicle hit a light pole and the pole fell down.

A call at 3:07 a.m. today about a vehicle that had slid into the ditch one mile east on U.S. Highway 2 was referred to a wrecker service.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Sunday and seven calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four male cats, two female 7-month-old kittens and three female cats.

The shelter also held six male and three female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier, two puppies from 12 weeks to 8 months old and a 21-week-old Australian shepherd puppy. Additionally, five 14-week-old puppies and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
