Attention child care centers and homes:

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services encourages people’s participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program — CACFP — of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 

CACFP provides reimbursements for nutritious meals served to children enrolled in child care. Child care centers may contact the state agency at MT CACFP, PO Box 202925, Helena, MT 59620, 406-444-4347 or 888-307-9333. Child care homes may contact a sponsoring organization listed below. Notice of Participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program

The following organizations announce their operation of the Child & Adult Care Food Program. The same meals will be made available to all enrolled participants at no separate charge and regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age or disability in the course of the meal services.

The center’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meal reimbursement is based on the following income scales effective through June 30. Children who receive TANF, FDPIR or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — SNAP, formerly Food Stamps — or who attend Head Start, are eligible for free meals.
