Correction - Montana Senate votes against Indigenous Peoples

A front-page story in Wednesday’s edition of Havre Daily News about the state Senate tabling then voting against blasting a bill that would create Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Montana reported that Sen. Russ Tempel, R-Chester, did not respond by printing deadline Wednesday to a request for comment sent by Havre Daily News Tuesday. Havre Daily News received a system report Wednesday after printing deadline that the message was on queue for delivery to Tempel but had not been delivered yet, a message repeated to the Havre Daily this morning.
