Havre Police Department

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported finding a juvenile smoking marijuana in the house at 8:13 a.m. Tuesday.

An assault was reported on Ninth Avenue Tuesday at 8:27 a.m.

Aaryn Jace Cantrell of Havre, 23, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Tuesday at 12:52 p.m. that a woman needed to be removed from the building.

A Tuesday 2:13 p.m. caller reported that a person in Havre ordered a credit card under the callers name.

A 9:03 p.m. Tuesday caller on 15th Street West reported accidentally hitting a neighbor's car and asked for an officer to make a report.

A 16th Street caller at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday reported a domestic disturbance that occurred the previous night.

A Second Street caller asked officers Tuesday at 11:14 p.m. to check on a camper parked in front of the caller's location.

A summons was issued after two callers at 4:23 a.m. today asked for officers to check on a woman on Lincoln Avenue. No details on charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Fire department call log was not received by print deadline today and no one was available to answer calls.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four male cats, two 7-month-old kittens and three female cats, and five cats are being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held four male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier, 9 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies, one 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a 21-week-old Australian shepherd puppy and two 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, five 13-week-old puppies, a female 11-week-old puppy and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.

A boy was born Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, to Logan Bunton and Logan Bergeron of Havre.
