Rocky Boy Schools inducted three new members into its National Honors Society Chapter Sunday, Feb. 5.
The students inducted were senior Tyra Parker and juniors Marisol Areyano and Kaliah Moore.
The chapter's other members are April Windy Boy, president; Talise Broncho, vice president; Terrance Johnson, secretary/treasurer; Kellen Colliflower, and Sharon Patacsil.
A dinner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rocky Boy honored the inductees, current members, and their parents and guardians.
Rocky Boy Junior and Senior High National Honor Society advisor Theresa Ellison gave a speech during the ceremony, reminding the students of the values of leadership, service, character and academics.
In addition to strong academic records, the NHS students have stellar records of service in Rocky Boy Schools and involvement in the Rocky Boy community. They have served as mentors for their peers, are involved in clubs like BPA, and FCCLA as well participate in many sports as stellar student/athletes.
