An arrest was made after a caller at a Third Avenue business reported two men and a woman loitering and drinking in the alley Wednesday at 4:56 p.m. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Acoya Nathan Gopher, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A Wednesday 5:18 p.m. caller reported leaving a wallet at a First Street business and when it was return everything was missing.

A shoplifter was reported at a First Street West business Wednesday at 6:46 p.m.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
A caller at Old Post Road and 26th Avenue West reported Wednesday at 1:37 p.m. that the 45 mph sign was missing on the eastbound lane.

Garrick Allan Ferguson of Box Elder, 19, was issued a summons on charges of operating a vehicle without valid registration and driving without a driver's license after a Wednesday 2:19 p.m. vehicle stop on Main Street in Box Elder.

Lorenzo Javier Rodriguez of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants after a transport was made Wednesday at 2:47 p.m. from Rocky Boy Police Department to Hill County Detention Center.

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held three cats of unknown gender, seven male cats and two female cats.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies ages 7 to 11 months, three male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-cross, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier and 11 10-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, seven 11-week-old puppies and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.

A boy was born Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, to Memory Gone and Aldred Ameline Jr. of Fort Belknap.
