Havre Police Department

A Tuesday 6:24 a.m. caller reported that people were trying to steal then raised a ruckus when caught and then left in a vehicle. Officers investigated the issue.

A caller on 10th Avenue reported that their vehicle was taken and was at 8:56 a.m. Tuesday sitting at a local business.

Tuesday at 11:49 a.m., a mailbox was reported struck on Lincoln Avenue.

A combative tenant was reported on Third Street West Tuesday at 2:13 p.m.

--

Officers removed a needle reported found in a snow bank on Third Street at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a man kept coming into the store asking suspicious questions.

Danielle Katherine Leeds of Havre, 40, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, refused to test, after a caller on Jefferson Avenue reported a car parked in the driving lane Tuesday at 10:57 p.m.

Lincoln Gregory Yarama of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Tuesday 4:48 p.m. caller reported finding a stray dog and they took it to the county shelter.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Tuesday and three calls early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, four male cats and two female cats, along with four cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies ages 6 to 11 months, one male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-cross, a male pit bull terrier and 11 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, seven 10-week-old puppies and a male dog all of mixed-breeding were being housed off-site.
