An injured deer was reported on 11th Avenue at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday. At 3:27 p.m. an 11th Street caller reported a man walking around with a gun, but this was an animal control officer looking for the injured deer.

A theft was reported at a First Street business Wednesday at 3:02 p.m.

A summons was issued after a 4:13 p.m. Wednesday caller on First Avenue reported an assault that occurred on a bus. No details on charges were provided.

A Third Street West caller reported Wednesday at 1:28 p.m. that they had bought a car on the internet but it didn't show up.

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one cats of unknown gender, four male cats and three female cats, along with four cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies of varying ages from 6 to 11 months, one male and two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier, 11 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a female pit bull-Labrador cross. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being housed off-site.
