Deputies assisted a motorist on U.S. Highway 2 West at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Tuesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded Tuesday at 11:19 a.m. to provide assistance at a vehicle crash on the 1000 Block of First Avenue and were called to a gas leak on the 1400 Block of First Street at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday, but no leak was detected.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one cats of unknown gender, four male cats and three female cats, along with five cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies of varying ages from 6 to 11 months, one male and two female mixed-breed dogs, a female pit bull terrier, 11 7-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a female pit bull-Labrador cross. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being housed off-site.
