Being involved with the Havre Chamber of Commerce has been an extremely rewarding experience for myself, both on a personal and a professional level. Initially, working with various Chamber committees, provided me with an opportunity to meet and begin building relationships with others involved in our community. I was introduced to fellow bankers, accountants, attorneys, insurance providers and many others who have aided me in my career. Serving on the Board of Directors introduced me to more professionals and business owners who were willing to take time out of their busy lives, to help guide an organization that looks to better the community in which we live. These are people who have a deep love for Havre and are enthusiastic about our future. Lastly, serving on the Executive Committee gave me the opportunity to work closely with a group of leaders that Havre is lucky to have. Their passion and commitment to the well-being of our community is unmatched. I'm proud to call these people my friends and I can assure you that the future of the Chamber, and Havre, is in good hands.
Being actively engaged in Chamber events has been very fulfilling. Watching runners cross the finish line of the Bear Paw Marathon or young children grinning from ear to ear while they run after candy being thrown from parade floats is just a small piece of what makes Chamber happenings special. It has been amazing to witness firsthand the support our area receives through the Gift Certificate program. I'm proud of the recent push the Chamber has made to consistently showcase our members on social media; we need to shop locally and support our neighbors. I'd like to sincerely thank everyone in this community who volunteers their time; you are appreciated.
I'm excited for the future and wish everyone a healthy and happy 2023. Thank you.
