Xavier Butler

The Havre High boys basketball team needed a spark Saturday night, and senior Xavier Butler gave them one. Butler scored a career-high 34 points as Havre staged an epic comeback in a 66-62 win over Hardin. Butler also poured in a team-high 18 points just one night earlier for the Ponies, who earned a home split over the weekend. Butler is a returning starter for HHS.

Eva Yeadon

Big Sandy’s Eva Yeadon had a night she won’t soon forget. Not only did her Pioneers stun Box Elder last Friday night in Big Sandy, but she also poured in an incredible 39 points in the win. Yeadon’s career-high was part of a huge weekend in which she also scored 15 points against North Star Saturday night. Yeadon is a returning starter who was also All-Conference in volleyball.
