Kyla Burchard, Havre High Girls Swimming

After a strong season a year ago, Havre High's Kyla Burchard is picking up right where she left off. Burchard finished in the Top 6 in key events, and relays at the Great Falls Pre Relay Meet in December in Great Falls. Burchard, a longtime Blue Pony swimmer, finished sixth in the 200 IM in Great Falls, as well as swimming on several Havre relay teams. Burchard and the Blue Ponies host the Havre Invitational this Saturday.

Matt Lemer, Havre High Wrestling

The Havre Blue Pony wrestling team posted a strong, 11th-place finish at the CMR Holiday Classic last month in Great Falls. And Matt Lemer was a big reason why. After solid showings at the Havre Invite and Mining City Duals, Lemer placed fourth in Great Falls at 113 pounds. Lemer is a returning All-Conference standout for the Blue Ponies, who return to tournament action this weekend at the Cut Bank Invitational.
