Havre Police Department

Officers assisted with a medical call on 10th Avenue at 7:50 a.m. Friday.

Leteaya Rose Murie of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants served Friday at 4:25 p.m. after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a woman struck another woman.

A Sixth Street caller reported Friday at 5:41 p.m. that a window was broken.

--

A Third Street caller reported Friday at 8:56 p.m. being maced and the male forced himself into the caller's home, and at 9 p.m. a caller named as an involved party asked to meet with officers about the incident. No arrest was listed with this incident, but Larae Ann Ameline, also named as a caller and an involved person has been listed in the jail roster starting Monday as being held on a felony false report charge along with one City Court warrant and two Justice Court warrants.

Crystal Corcoran of Box Elder, 40, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported a shoplifter Saturday at 1:46 p.m.

Officers assisted with a medical call on First Street Northeast at 5:58 p.m. Saturday.

Officers assisted sheriff's deputies Saturday at 9:38 p.m. with a vehicle stuck in the ditch on the west end of town.

Peter Douglas Azure of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop on First Street Saturday at 10:03 p.m.

Officers assisted a vehicle stuck in the snow Saturday at 10:48 p.m. on First Street West.

An arrest was made while officers were assisting someone on Fourth Avenue at 12:46 a.m. Sunday. No details on charges were listed in the dispatch log, but Jonathan Simmons, who was named as an involved party, has been listed in the jail roster since Sunday morning as being held on a charge of theft.

A caller on 14th Avenue reported Sunday at 7:30 a.m. that a back window had been broken out of a vehicle.

A caller at the emergency room reported at 12:40 p.m. Sunday that someone had been bitten by a dog, but the bite victim said the dog was his and would produce vaccination records.

A hit and run was reported Sunday at 7:06 p.m. on Second Street and the victim reported a sore back.

Zoey Grace Theboy of Havre, 20, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller on First Street reported Monday at 1:29 a.m. that a family member had come home drunk and high.

Elmo Francis Bailey Jr. of Great Falls, 57, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on Second Street Monday at 1:05 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Fourth Avenue caller reported that neighbors were continually driving over the caller's parent's lawn.

A Grant Avenue caller reported a theft Monday at 5:21 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Friday 12:34 p.m. request for assistance.

Deputies investigated a 1:54 p.m. Friday report of an animal control issue on Fork Road West.

A Billings caller asked deputies Friday at 5:02 p.m. to perform a welfare check on 36th Avenue Northeast, and called again to speak with deputies at 6:40 p.m. Saturday.

A 10:22 p.m. Friday caller on Seventh Avenue North reported a young child walking alone and at 10:27 p.m. a Second Street North caller asked for assistance finding a grandchild who disappeared while the caller outside momentarily checking on a vehicle.

Deputies assisted police officers in the Havre area Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after four callers reported a person was jumping out in front of traffic on U.S. Highway 2 West Saturday at 5:33 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash reported on Old Post Road Sunday at 2:41 p.m. was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

--

Callers on U.S. Highway 2 East reported Sunday at 7:09 p.m. that a man was walking on the road and then sitting in the snow on the roadside.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 25, and Claudine Chiefstick of Lodge Pole were each arrested on a charge of traffic crime and Nicole Rose Big Leggins of Havre, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after deputies assisted someone on Old Post Road Sunday at 10:49 p.m.

A tan and brown puppy was reported found Saturday on the viaduct, and the caller asked Monday at 8:13 a.m. if someone would come pick it up and take it to the county sherlter.

A theft was reported Monday at 12:27 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

--

A Monday 3:22 p.m. report from an uninjured caller about hitting a patch of ice and flipping over a semitractor-trailer on Wildhorse Road near mile marker 14 was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to eight calls Friday, four calls Saturday, three calls Sunday, two calls Monday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to four calls over the holiday weekend. Friday calls at 8:44 a.m. on the 30 Block of First Street and the 1400 Block of First Street were fire calls, but no fire was found. The Saturday call at 4 p.m. was about a gas odor at an ongoing natural gas cleanup site related to a gas line break near the 1600 Block of Pine Drive, and a call at 12:26 a.m. Sunday was a good intent call with no problem found on the 300 Block of Sixth Street.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five cats all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male cats and one male 6-month-old kitten, along with five feral cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held a male Shih Tzu-poodle cross, a male mixed-breed dog, 16 mixed-breed puppies of varying ages from 8 weeks to 10 months and a female Yorkshire terrier. Additionally, a male dog and a female dog with 10 puppies, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.
