Havre Police Department

A caller at a First Street business reported at 6:36 a.m. Monday finding a bag of drugs left behind by a customer.

A two-vehicle crash involving a Camaro and a Yukon was reported on First Street Monday at 12:12 p.m.

A non-injury crash involving two pickup rucks was reported Monday at 3:57 p.m. by a caller at a First Street business.

--

An arrest was made after a caller on First Street reported seeing a man with outstanding warrants Monday at 4:54 p.m. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but William Joe Skidmore, who was named as an involved party was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of obstructing and resisting as well as on five City Court warrants and a Justice Court warrant.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported on U.S. Highway 2 West at 5:32 p.m. Monday.

A caller reported Monday at 7:01 p.m. that he backed into a pole in a First Street parking lot.

Michael Denny of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Avenue business asked Monday at 9:23 p.m. for assistance removing a man from the business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's Office dispatch log listed no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Montana Highway Patrol

A three-vehicle crash was reported at Gildford Road and U.S. Highway 2. The crash is still under investigation and the responding trooper was not on call, but Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Jason Wickum provided information available in the incomplete report. He said three vehicles were nearing the turnoff and the front vehicle slowed to make a turn, but the rear vehicle failed to slow enough and struck the middle vehicle, which then struck the front vehicle. All three vehicles had airbags deployed in the crash and a fourth vehicle was damaged by debris. Lowell Strissel with Rudyard volunteer ambulance said two people from separate vehicles were transported to Northern Montana Hospital for treatment.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Monday and one early this morning, and firefighters reset an alarm on the 10 Block of Second Street West at 7:15 a.m. today.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, one female kitten, one female cat and two male cats, as well as five cats being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week-old border collie puppy and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered.
