Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Thursday and two calls early this morning.

Two ambulance calls were in conjunction with two fire calls, the first to the 500 Block of Fifth Avenue at 4:50 p.m. for a report of a gas odor and other to the 600 Block of Fifth Avenue at 5:39 p.m. for a vehicle crash.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, two female kittens, four male cats, one female cat and two male kittens. Two cats were being held separately for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a female 8-month-old Labrador, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs, and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and five 15-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
