Red Cross blood drive coordinator
The Chinook Community Red Cross Blood Drive was held Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Chinook Community Commercial building at the Blaine County fairgrounds, and it was another great success.
We had 56 presenting donors with 53 units collected on a goal of 45. We registered one first-time donor, Julia Briere, and Perry Alcorn reached 12 gallons.
Those accepting door prizes were Diana Reishus, Bobbi Beck, Lane Hassler, Ann Davies and Walter Waldner.
The canteen was hosted by the ladies of the Alliance Church. They also provided the door prizes. North Central Montana Cattlewomen provided the beef certificates.
Reception was hosted by Judy Johnson, Linda Thompson and Roxanne Townsend. Cleanup was provided by the students of JUMP.
The next drive will again be located at the Chinook Community Commercial building Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, from noon to 6 p.m.
A big shout out to all the donors and all those who volunteered in any way. It is very much appreciated.
