Havre Police Department

A caller at the hospital reported Tuesday at 8:51 a.m. that a patient had a dog bite.

A Tuesday 9:15 a.m. caller on Seventh Street reported a gun had been stolen from the caller's apartment.

Sherman Dean Alexander Sr. of Havre, 60, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on First Street Tuesday at 10:26 a.m.

Three 11-year-olds, one boy and two girls all from Havre, were each issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a fight was reported at Havre Middle School Tuesday at 1:59 p.m.

A verbal or written warning was issued after a Third Street caller reported Tuesday at 8:31 p.m. that a dog had been tied up on the neighbor's porch for more than an hour.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Marcus Antoine Inman of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 9 a.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on 70th Avenue West Tuesday at 1:20 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday with the 12:43 p.m. response in conjunction with a fire crew to an alarm on the 400 Block of Third Street where a sprinkler alarm had malfunctioned at a business.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats all of unknown gender, two female kittens, four male cats, one female cat and two male kittens. Two cats were being held separately for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a female 8-month-old Labrador, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and five 15-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
