Officers responding to a report from the 1000 block of First Street West at 10 a.m. Wednesday of suspicious activity arrested April D. Miller of Havre, 40, on charges of criminal trespass to property, criminal trespass to vehicles and obstructing a peace officer or public servant.

After a report at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday from a business on the 700 Block of First Street of a shoplifter, officers arrested Tamera L. Goldsmith of Harlem, 53, on charges of theft by shoplifting and assault.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday on Ninth Avenue arrested Thomas Roderick Yallup Jr. on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failure to carry or produce proof of insurance and on a Justice or City Court warrrant.

Officers responding to a report made from an establishment on the 300 Block of First Street at 9:33 a.m. Friday of suspicious activity issued written or verbal warnings.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop on First Street West at 11:25 a.m. Thursday arrested Laura Buffalo of Havre, 21, on charges of failure to carry or produce proof of insurance, speeding on a state road and driving without a driver's license and on two Justice or City court warrants.

Officers investigated a call made at 12:17 p.m. Thursday from Hidden Valley Road of a deer bleeding on the caller's property.

After a caller from Seventh Avenue reported at 1:47 a.m. today a person trying to get into a car, officers issued summonses to two individuals. Details were not available in the dispatch log.

Officers responding to a report at 3:30 this morning from Montana Avenue of a disturbance in progress made an arrest. No details were provided in the dispatch log, but Anthony Rucinsky, who was listed as an involved party, was listed as being held in the Hill County Detention Center this morning on a charge of partner or family member assault.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies responding to a report at 4:31 a.m. Thursday from the 1500 Block of 36th Ave. NE of a disturbance issued a written or verbal warning. After receiving a report at 7:02 a.m. Thursday of the disturbance resuming, deputies arrested Matthew Dylan Weston of Havre, 31, and Shi Menas, of Havre, 28, each on a charge of non-aggravated partner or family member assault.
Havre Fire Department
Fire department personnel responded to three medical calls Wednesday and five medical calls Thursday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one female and one male kitten and one kitten of unknown gender, one female cat, three male cats and three cats of unknown gender.
It also was sponsoring two four-week old male dogs, had one male and four female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppies in the shelter and, in the dog room, had five male mixed-breed puppies four months old or less, a 9-month-old female mixed-breed dog, an 8-month old female Labrador retriever, a 1-year-2-month-old female mixed-breed dog, a 2-year-old female Australian cattle dog/blue heeler, a 2-year-old male mixed-breed dog and a 5-year-1-month-old male German shepherd.
