Havre Police Department

Fred Nashookpuk of Box Elder, 37 was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault after a officers were called to assist Havre Fire Department on First Street Friday at 9:49 a.m.

Officers investigated a report from another agency about a person on the sexual or violent offender registry called in at 11:31 a.m. Friday.

Brittney McGrew of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and unlawful restraint and on Justice or City court warrant after an assault was reported at 1:59 p.m. Friday.

--

A gas drive-off was reported at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at a First Street West business.

--

A Jeffereson Avenue caller asked Saturday at 6:50 p.m. to speak with officers about suspicious activity.

Petra Jordan Currie of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and resisting arrest after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported a customer refusing to leave Saturday at 11:40 p.m.

A caller on First Street Northeast reported three people trying to break into cars at 4:16 a.m. Sunday. Police searched for but were unable to find the suspects.

A 10th Street caller reported Sunday at 10:47 a.m. that a vehicle was broken into.

--

Khalif M. Davis of Compton, California, 47, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to vehicles after a caller at a First Street business reported at 1:09 p.m. Sunday that someone was trying to break into the caller's vehicle.

A vehicle crash was reported on 15th Street West Sunday at 1:26 p.m.

--

Propane bottles were reported Sunday at 2:16 p.m. stolen from a First Street West business.

--

A Sixth Avenue caller reported trespassers involving three kids in a car Sunday at 8:50 p.m.

--

A Second Avenue caller reported hearing three gun shots at 9:04 p.m. Sunday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Friday at 10:58 a.m. at Hill County Sheriff's Office.

Vandalism was reported Sunday at 5:33 p.m. at a Gildford business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, four calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Thursday, firefighters responded to two calls, the first was 5:28 p.m. to the 800 Block of First Street where insulation, found touching a boiler pipe, was starting to burn. They got the fire out and no damage occurred. The second call was to the 30 Block of Ridge Road at 6:48 p.m. where a burning smell was coming from a light, but no fire was found.

Firefighters responded to a 5:05 p.m. Saturday alarm to the 10 Block of Third Street West where they reset the alarm.

Firefighters responded at 8:52 p.m. Sunday to a fire alarm on the 400 Block of Third Street where they found the alarm had malfunctioned.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cat and one kitten all of unknown gender, two female kittens, three male cats, two female cats and one male kitten, along with two cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a female 8-month-old Labrador, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and five 14-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
