Obituary - Shawn Love

Shawn Love, 45, lost his battle unexpectedly to kidney disease at Benefis Hospital October 25, 2022.

He was surrounded by all those who loved him dearly. Cremation has taken place.

Shawn was born December 8th, 1976, to Betty Love and Norman Jones in Missoula, MT. He graduated in Great Falls, MT. He eventually moved to Havre, MT.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, camping, attending car shows, playing darts, working on cars, playing with his spoiled Akita companion Meisha, and especially spending time with family.

Shawn looked forward to dart league and city darts every year for an enjoyable time with his friends who he considered family. His biggest joy was his children. He always attended every game, and school functions and was there whenever they needed him. He also enjoyed traveling to see family every year. He will be deeply and truly missed by many.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Norman Jones of Nevada and Betty Love of Kentucky; wife, Phyllis (Roberts) Love; children, Kiara Love of Havre, Heaven Love and Zack Dowell, both of Great Falls, Scott Roberts and Shawn Love Jr., both of Havre. Siblings Matthew (Kristen) Vernoy of North Carolina. Summer Vernoy, Crystal and Tabitha Love of Kentucky. Wesley (Ruby) Vernoy of Texas. Amie (Jonathan) Morfin of Idaho. Grandchildren Kora and Charlene Roberts of Havre. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

There will be a celebration of life December 2nd, at 4 p.m., at the Elks.
