Havre Police Department

A summons was issued after a juvenile offense was reported in which drugs were reported found at Havre High School Wednesday at 9:35 a.m. No details on charges were provided.

Brandon Thomas Gopher of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant after a Wednesday 9:51 p.m. caller on First Street reported a disturbance involving a man and a woman in a verbal argument.

Isaac Leo Wells of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served after a caller on Third Avenue West reported a man on the ground with people around him Wednesday at 10:17 p.m.

Kurt Allan Eagleman of Havre, 42, was arrested on a vandalism charge after a caller on First Street West reported a vandal at 12:51 a.m. today.

Officers assisted Hill County Sheriff's deputies in the county at 2:44 a.m. today.

Glenda Jane Wells of Great Falls, 49, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants, and Stephanie Rita Small of Havre, 39, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller on First Street reported someone was trying to get into a vehicle at 3:57 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies transported a prisoner from Warm Springs back to Hill County Detention Center at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Sarah Ashley Lantrip of Havre, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on charges of operating a vehicle without valid registration, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no vehicle insurance during a vehicle stop on Seventh Avenue Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.

Deputies assisted Havre police on Third Avenue West at 10:18 p.m. Wednesday.

Jenell Rene Leo of Havre, 46, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants, and Tayla Wren Overlie of Havre, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant after deputies investigated suspicious activity at 2:39 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to nine calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters, accompanied by an ambulance, responded to a 10:07 a.m. Wednesday report of a gas odor on the 600 Block of First Street West. Firefighters and a NorthWestern Energy crew identified two small gas leaks and the building owner was advised to get them repaired.

Firefighters, accompanied by an ambulance, responded to a Wednesday 5:50 p.m. fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West and reset the alarm after finding no signs of fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, two female kittens, two male cats, two female cats and one male kitten, along with two cats in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and six 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
