Lights and Argos set to collide

There's only one rivalry in Montana college wrestling. And the first salvo in that battle starts tonight in Great Falls, as the Montana State University-Northern Lights take on the Providence Argos.

The No. 18 Lights are on a roll, too. MSU-N comes into tonight's dual having already dominated North Idaho College in its home debut, then crushing the competition at the Trapper Open in Powell, Wyoming, last Saturday.

Led by nationally ranked NaKoda Siegel (174), Martin Wilkie (149), Connor Harris (157), Carl Hansen (184) and Rylin Burns (174), as well as veteran heavyweight Rylan Moldenhauer, the Lights have a talented squad, that also includes emerging stars like Tanner and Cooper Cook, Devin Crawford, Colin Silverthorn, Austin Vanek and others.

The Argos, however, won't be a pushover, especially on their home mat.

Providence boasts standouts like Jordan Komac (165), Joel Avila (133), Hayden Schrull (184), Liam Swanson (197) and K.C. Buday (285).

The dual itself is always a tough one as well, but, as always, the Lights will focus on what they can control, especially since the November matchup is so early in the season. Northern and Providence will meet again in February in Billings.

Tonight's dual will start at 7 inside the McLaughlin Center. Fans can stream all the action at golightsgo.com.
