Water main break shuts down service near Carpenter Park

A caller near Carpenter Park reported to Havre Police Tuesday at 3:39 p.m. seeing signs of a water main break in the area.

Havre Public Works Director Dave Peterson said a water main break occurred near the intersection of Sixth Street and 12th Avenue. Water was shut off to a one to two block area for the night, but a crew was out first thing this morning to start the repair, he said.
