Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made at 12:04 p.m. Friday from First Avenue of a lawnmower being stolen.

Officers assisting another agency Friday at 3:26 p.m. on the 10 Block of Second Street arrested Steeven Andrew Avolad of Havre, 52, at 6:34 p.m. on a charge of negligent endangerment.

After receiving a complaint from a local hospital at 6:51 p.m. Friday, officers arrested Lana Belgarde Saddler of Rocky Boy, 52, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Officers investigated a report made at 12:30 p.m. Saturday from Second Street that someone had cut zip ties off a fence and apparently tried to get onto the property.

A caller reported at 3:11 p.m. Saturday from Ninth Avenue that they had found prescription glasses at their residence.

Officers took a report at 3:06 a.m. Sunday from the 100 Block of First Street West that someone had stolen a Blue Tooth transmitter.

--

After a person failed to appear for a 24/7 sobriety program appearance, officers issued a summons to Martin Duane Flying Jr of Havre, 30, on a charge of criminal contempt.

After receiving a call from Seventh Street at 8:27 a.m. Sunday, officers arrested William Leo Champine of Havre, 29, on a charge of strangulation of partner or family member.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Hill County Sheriff's Office personnel made no arrests over the weekend.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department personnel responded to six medical calls Friday, seven Saturday and three Sunday.

Fire department personnel responded to a fire alarm reset on the 1800 Block of Jefferson Avenue Saturday and to a report of carbon monoxide on the 10 Block of Beaver Creek Boulevard Sunday. The fire department personnel found nothing on the carbon monoxide call and it was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and one kitten of unknown gender, three male cats, two male kittens, two female kittens and three female cats, along with two cats of unknown gender in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held five mixed-breed puppies, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male and female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old German shepherd, a male pit bull-Labrador cross and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 8-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered, and eight 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.

Births

A boy was born to Cheyenne and John Chinadle of Hingham Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022.
