News you can use

Hello, God. It's me, Mara.

A November autumn day

November snow may come real soon, there's still work to be done. Friends and neighbors have helped a lot, bit more 'fore change of sun[1]! Did you get snow, or is it gone? Winter is on its way!  Some rain could fall, it's needed here. 'Twould make a lovely day.  It's time to bring the cows back home - they ate the pasture clean. They sure do like their summer time - now brown where once was green. Harvest is done and hay hauled in, prepared for winter time. A rancher's work is very hard. Yoo hoo! It's now lunchtime!

The birds prepare for traveling, too, fly south out of this cold. Was fun to watch them in birdbath, as large bird came to scold.

Deer visit in our neighborhood, they eat a lot of grass .... The twins stick pretty close to "Mom." and flowers they don't pass! Cedar waxwings have yet to come to clean "off" mountain ash. They're a big flock - a hungry bunch - clean tree off in a flash!

Three bunnies like to visit here, don't know where they call "home." They nibble grass, rest under bush, this neighborhood they roam.

A flock of geese, once flew by here - don't know now, where they fly. Maybe the wind changed travel plans - so they now just fly high!

The cottonwood took time to change from green to gleaming gold. The leaves stayed green and hung on tight, until weather turned cold. Then off leaves flew, covering the lawns, sidewalks and streets down town. The folks who usually clean them up, sometimes they wear a frown. Oh! You should see house roofs 'round here - they've mostly all turned white! If one flew by, looked down on town, bet that would be a sight!

There's rain and wind and sparkling snow, each snowflake has six sides! Covering a hill, snow, oh so deep, fun to use ski or slides.

We thank You, Lord, for making us in Your creative plan. It's fun to know that You knew us[2] before Your work began.

Love, Mara
