Montana Highway Patrol
Troopers responded Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. to a vehicle crash with at least one injury west of Zurich on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 412 between Headquarters and Cherry Ridge Roads. No one was made available to provide further information.

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls in the 24-hour reporting period.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, three male cats, two female kittens, three female cats and two male kittens, along with three cats and two kittens in the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed puppies, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old German shepherd, a male pit bull-Labrador cross and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male mixed-breed dog was being fostered, and eight 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
