Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Caleb Tomac, Havre High XC

Havre High’s Caleb Tomac certainly relishes the big stage when it comes to cross country. And he proved that at last Saturday’s state championships in Missoula, where he burned up the University of Montana course in 16:39.32. Tomac came across the line in fourth place for the Blue Ponies, earning him Class A All-State honors. Tomac was competing in his third straight state meet as the Ponies finished ninth.

Molly Huse, Havre High Volleyball

In her final home matches of her career, Havre High senior setter Molly Huse made the most of her time in the HHS gymnasium. In matches against Browning and Sidney last weekend, Huse tallied 54 assists, six aces, 15 digs and two blocks for the Ponies, who remained undefeated in the Northeast A. Huse also competes for the Ponies in basketball and softball.
