The H. Earl and Margaret Turner Clack Memorial Museum Foundation has invited the public to attend its annual meeting this Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Duck Inn’s Vineyard Room.
The meeting program will include stories from “In the Years Gone By,” a history of homesteading in Simpson and Cottonwood.
“If you love local history and want to support the museum, please RSVP,” a release about the meeting said.
The meeting costs $50 per person for non-museum members. That includes a meal from a limited menu at the Duck Inn, with the attendee’s choice of meatloaf, shrimp, chicken or tilapia and mashed potato or fries as a side, with salad and dessert.
“You will also receive a yearly Clack Museum membership,” the release said. “If you are a current museum member who has paid your yearly membership fee since the grand opening in July 2022, cost of attendance to the annual meeting is $25 and includes your meal.”
People can RSVP by contacting Lynda Taplin at [email protected] or calling 406-265-7670.
“Thank you for supporting local history,” the release said.
