A caller on Second Street, near the Seventh Avenue intersection reported Sunday at 2:06 a.m. that someone driving by a man and a woman slowed down and pulled out a gun then drove off south on Seventh, said Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich. The incident is still under investigation, Matosich added, but the vehicle was thought to be a gray Dodge four-door pickup with a black rack and possibly a tool box.

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Friday, three calls Saturday and five calls Sunday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held three cats and six kittens all of unknown gender, three male cats, one male kitten, three female kittens and three female cats, along with three trap-neuter-release cats.

The shelter also held a male boxer-pit bull cross, one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, three mixed breed puppies, a male terrier-dachshund-cross, a male pit bull-Labrador-cross, a male Siberian husky and a male German shepherd. Additionally, three 17-week-old puppies and one male dog, all of mixed-breed, were being fostered, and nine 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
