BOZEMAN — The fall 2022 season of “Montana Ag Live” has begun and continues through Nov. 6.
The weekly Montana PBS program is hosted by Jack Riesselman, a former Montana State University Extension specialist and professor. “Montana Ag Live” features a variety of MSU College of Agriculture and MSU Extension faculty, as well as other notable guests. The program addresses current issues in agriculture with live answers to questions from viewers across Montana.
“‘Montana Ag Live’ has been on the air for 28 years and has provided a wide array of information on current agricultural issues,” Riesselman said. “This fall, our series examines many issues that can affect the sustainability of farms and ranches.”
One notable guest on the show this fall was Kent Wasson, former chair of the Western Sustainable Agriculture and Research Education Program Administrative Council. Wasson operates a farm and ranch in Phillips County, managing more than 12,000 acres.
Upcoming guests include Michelle Flenniken, MSU associate professor and honeybee pathogen expert; Cory Cheguis, Custer County fire warden; and Todd Kesner, director of the Montana 4-H Youth Development Center.
