Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for September is Sean Nagel.
Sean is the son of Cody and Dezerae Nagel. He has four siblings, Andrew Olson, Brayden Cooper, and Easton Nagel.
At HMS, Sean plays the clarinet in the band. Outside of school, he participates in hockey, baseball, football and cross country. In his spare time, Sean loves playing sports, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
In the classroom, Sean demonstrates excellent character and a positive personality. He is always prepared and puts forth his best effort. Sean has strong leadership skills that make him a very reliable and responsible student. His outstanding behavior represents the middle school "Pony Spirit."
Sean's future goals are to attend college and play hockey.
September's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Cooper Walton.
Cooper's parents are Brad and Mallory Walton. He has four siblings, Carson, Cayden, Alexa and Alivia Walton.
At the middle school, Cooper signs in the choir. Outside of school, he participates in football, basketball and baseball. In his free time, Cooper enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.
In the classroom, Cooper has a wonderful attitude and is a dedicated learner. He is very helpful and supportive of his classmates when they need assistance. Cooper is a joy to be around and sets high standards for other HMS students to follow.
In the future, Cooper aspires to play professional football.
Kylee McNew is HMS' Eight-Grade Student of the Month for September.
Kylee is the daughter of Gavin and Jenna McNew. She has two siblings, Cody and Porter McNew.
At HMS, Kylee plays percussion in the band. Outside of school, she is involved in soccer, volleyball, and babysitting. In her spare time, Kylee loves camping and spending time with family and friends.
In the classroom, Kylee has a positive attitude and is always courteous to those around her. She has a tremendous work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond expectations. Her compassion toward others makes her a role model to all students at the middle school.
Kylee strives to maintain a high GPA and would like to pursue a degree in engineering.
