Obituary - Alfred James 'Juice' Parker

Alfred James “Juice” Parker, Ki Se Niwah Si Ni (Old Man Stone), 59, passed away due to natural causes at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Wake services began at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, continued until his traditional funeral service at 10:00 a.m. today, September 29, 2022, all at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with Russell Standing Rock officiating. Burial followed in the Alfred Parker Cemetery in Duck Creek.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Juice was born September 17, 1963, in Havre to Alfred Lawrence “Coogie” and Ethel (Stanley) Parker. He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in Rocky Boy and Box Elder. After graduation in 1981, he attended Stone Child College for two years and Northern Montana College for two years.

In 1992, Juice married Robin Duran, and the couple raised their seven children in Rocky Boy.

Over the years, Juice worked several different jobs, but he retired from Water Resources in 2019.

Juice was a loving family man who enjoyed reading, welding, making coffee tables and lamps, crafting, ranching, and cutting hay. He adored his wife, children, and grandchildren, and he loved spending time with them and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Rokki Parker in 2020; grandchildren Waverlee Bearcub and Sage Ferguson, Jr., in 2020, and Elk Toothwoman in 2012; father, Alfred “Coogie” Parker, and grandparents, James and Gladys (Eaglechild) Stanley Jr. and John and Elizabeth (Nomee) Parker.

Juice is survived by his wife, Robin Parker of Rocky Boy; daughters Rikki (Tim Nault, Jr.) Duran, Ronni (Leighton) Baker, Megan Parker, and Ashley (Harlan) Glass; sons, Steven (Jordan) Arca Jr., Wynter Parker, and Romeo (Sarah Cobell) Weasel Boy; thirteen grandchildren; sister, Ivy Marie (Ty) Watson; brothers, Darwin (Pennyjo) Parker and Nolan (Michelle) Parker; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
