Shea Reber, Havre High Golf

It's been a great golf season for Havre High junior Shea Reber. And it's not over yet. Reber will tee it up at this week's Class A state tournament in Hamilton thanks to a stellar eighth-place finish at last weekend's Eastern A tournament in Billings. At Lake Hills Golf Club, Reber fired a personal-best round of 94 to earn Eastern A All-Conference honors for the Ponies, and qualify for the state tourney for second straight fall. Reber is also a member of the Blue Pony basketball and fast pitch softball teams.

Nate Nelson, CJI Football

The Chester-Joplin-Inverness football team is scored a huge, last-minute win over Highwood last weekend, and Nate Nelson was a huge factor for the Hawks. Nelson scored five times, including the game-winning 39-yard TD reception as CJI won 44-43. Nelson also caught a 15-yard TD pass, threw a 36-yard strike for a TD and scored on runs of 38, 29 and 31 yards as his Hawks improved to 4-1 in their first season of Six-Man football. Nelson is also a standout in the winter and spring at CJI.
