Havre Police Department

A dead deer was reported on 10th Street at 6:51 a.m. Monday.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported Monday at 4:53 p.m. that structures had been broken into.

A two-vehicle vehicle crash was reported at 14th Avenue and and Eighth Street Monday at 8:31 p.m.

--

An arrest was made after officers were asked to provide assistance at a First Street West establishment at 11:48 p.m. Monday. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Alejandra Iskra Connors, who was named as an involved party, was listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on two warrants for failure to appear.

An alcohol theft was reported at a First Street business at 2:19 a.m. today.

A 19th Street caller reported a deer with a soccer net stuck in its antlers at 4:05 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Kremlin caller reported vandalism on Central Avenue Monday at 1:53 p.m.

A dog bite was reported by hospital staff Monday at 3:40 p.m.

Deputies assisted with a Monday 5:10 p.m. call from a man on an off-road bike near County roads 110 North and 365 North who needed help with directions.

Michael Steven Schoening of Havre, 37, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant while deputies were serving the warrants on First Street West at 12:51 a.m. today.

Montana Highway Patrol

A semitractor-trailer westbound on U.S. Highway 2 West ended up on its side in the ditch near 82nd Avenue West after the driver swerved to avoid a vehicle turning off the highway Monday at 8:44 a.m., said Trooper Tyrel Hendrickson. The driver of the semi was injured and transported to the hospital. Neither speed nor alcohol were involved in the crash, Hendrickson said, and the semi driver was the only person injured.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Monday and two calls early this morning. Firefighters provided assistance to EMTs on two calls to vehicle crashes Monday, one on U.S. Highway 2 West at 8:37 a.m. and the other on 14th Avenue at 8:33 a.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 11 kittens of unknown gender, four male kittens, three male cats, six female cats and one female kitten.

The shelter also held three 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies, three female and two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week-old German shepherd puppy and one female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, four 13-week-old puppies and one male dog, all mixed-breeds, were being fostered, and nine 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
