NorthWestern Energy announces rate adjustement

Press release

NorthWestern Energy has issued notice that it is implementing a rate adjustment

A release says that, “pursuant to its Electric Tariff, Schedule No. EPCC-1, Annual Power Costs and Credits Adjustment Mechanism,” it will implement an annual adjustment rate Oct. 1.

The rate, which also includes recovery of projected demand-side management supply costs and Montana Public Service Commission/Montana Consumer Counsel axes, is interim, and subject to adjustment, pending a final decision by the PSC.

The adjustment is necessary to recover increased supply costs tracked pursuant to NorthWestern’s PCCAM tariff, the release says.

It says people can examine NorthWestern’s filing and supporting documents by visiting the Commission’s website at https://bit.ly/3x5x8Nj .

The Montana Consumer Counsel is available to assist in the representation of consumer interests in this matter, and its phone number is 406-444-2771.

Responses to NorthWestern’s filing that any person wishes the Commission to consider should be mailed to the Commission at P.O. Box 202601, Helena, MT 59620-2601, as soon as possible.
