Havre Police Department

A First Street caller reported Wednesday at 7:01 a.m. that someone went into his house.

Malea Selage of Havre, 18, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a Fourth Street caller reported at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday that a man and a woman broke into the caller's house.

Someone stopped at the police station at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday to turn over some property.

A Wednesday 2:10 p.m. caller asked officers to perform a welfare check on 10th Street West.

A caller reported Wednesday at 4:14 p.m. that someone had run into the east pillars at the cemetery within the last week.

A shoplifter was reported at a First Street business Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.

A dog fight was reported on First Street at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday and the caller later said they were able to break up the fight, but at 12:12 a.m. today officers were called to the hospital about a person with a dog bite from the incident.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported a gas line was hit Wednesday at 3:47 p.m. on County Road 100 South.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday, one as standby as firefighters investigated a gas odor on the 200 Block of Third Avenue at 3:15 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats, three 21-week-old kittens, a 6-month-old kitten, two 12-week-old kittens, five 1-week-old kittens and one 8-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, three male cats, six female cats, two male and one female 14-week-old kittens, one male and two female 10-week-old kittens, and two female and one male 12-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a border collie, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 25-week-old Labrador retriever, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old border collie puppy and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Additionally, five male 9-week-old puppies, one female and one male 6-week-old puppies and one male dog, all mixed-breeds, were being fostered.

A boy was born Monday, August 22, 2022, to Jessica Parker and Anthony Main of Hays.
