Havre Police Department

An arrest was made after a caller reported Tuesday at 11:35 a.m. seeing a man beat a woman and then finding blood on the floor. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Blair Stacey Chiefstick, who was named as an involved party, is listed in the jail roster as being held on three counts of failure to comply and charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest.

Raini June Rogers of Billings, 25, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported a shoplifter at 2:55 p.m.

An arrest was made after a Tuesday 3:40 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported a shoplifter. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Udale Reed Merasty, who was named as an involved party, was listed in the jail roster as being held on charges of violation of conditions of release, two counts of failure to comply, theft, endangering the welfare of a child and trespass.

Robert Joseph Sunchild of Havre, 39, was arrested on a charge of resisting arrest.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Gregory Scott Henry of Box Elder, 45, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats, three 21-week-old kittens, a 6-month-old kitten, two 12-week-old kittens, five 6-day-old kittens and one 8-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, three male cats, six female cats, two male and one female 14-week-old kittens, one male and two female 10-week-old kittens, and two female and one male 12-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a border collie, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 25-week-old Labrador retriever, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old border collie puppy and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Additionally, five male 9-week-old puppies, one female and one male 6-week-old puppies and one male dog, all mixed-breeds, were being fostered.
