Obituary - Victor Patacsil

Victor Patacsil, 74, passed away at his home August 16, 2022, due to natural causes.

A Rosary service will be held Friday, August 19, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home followed by viewing from 5-7 p.m. At his request, no funeral services will be held. Victor was born June 10, 1948, to Bernabe Patacsil and Elizabeth Denny in Salinas, CA. The family moved to Great Falls, where Victor graduated from high school. Victor was drafted into the Army during the Viet Nam war. For his acts of bravery, he received the Purple Heart medal. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he enlisted in the Navy Reserves. He served in the Reserves for 20 years. During the early '70s he attended Texas A & M, where he received his bachelor's degree in food science.

Victor was a man of many and varied talents. He worked for the USDA as a meat inspector; was a butcher at Gramma's Market; worked for the Roads Department in Rocky Boy; worked for the Dick Simon trucking company and Van Dyke Trucking; was a police officer for the Rocky Boy Police Department and, while living in Alaska, worked as a housekeeper in the hospital. Victor was a traveling man. He lived in California, Oregon, Alaska, Montana, and Texas.

Victor enjoyed playing games on his tablet, especially card games. He liked to watch YouTube to learn how to do the home DIY projects he loved to do. He liked cooking, fishing, and being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He liked tinkering in the garage, being outdoors and loved hunting.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Bernabe and Elizabeth; daughter Rachelle; sisters Shirley Aragon and Rosemary Sangrey; grandsons, Santonio and Hassham; great grandson, Zayden, and best friends, Cubby Morsette, George Molina, and Randall Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Patacsil; sons, Zane Sr., Brandon, Darrin, Bobby, Frank, and Noah; daughters Vanessa, Kirstin, Elizabeth, and Kelci; granddaughters, Brooklyn, Kalila, Stephanie, Nea, Kiani, Ja'niya, Jala, Khloe, and Megan; grandsons, Dante, Zane Jr., Vicente, Julian, Ur' Majesty, Andrew, Kaylup; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bernabe, Richard, Mario, Leon, Curtis, Bruce, and Walter; sister Roxanne, and many other extended family and friends.
