Hill County Sheriff's Office
A caller on 34th Avenue West reported Wednesday at 6:16 p.m. that two rings were stolen from a closet.

Gary Don Story of Havre, 33, who has been held in Hill County Detention Center since Feb. 9 on charges of partner or family member assault and strangulation, was served Wednesday at 10:06 p.m. with a Justice or City court warrant for failure to appear.

Colton Tyrone Small of Havre, 20, who has been held at the detention center since Feb. 12 on a charge of assault with a weapon and a Chippewa Cree Tribal Court warrant for domestic violence, had two counts of indecent exposure added to his charges Wednesday at 10:58 p.m.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Wednesday, and firefighters responded at 10:56 a.m. to a report of a smoke smell on the 1800 Block of Second Street, but no one was made available to provide details.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter Wednesday morning held five 11-week-old kittens, two cats, three 9-week-old kittens and one 7-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two male cats, six female cats, and two male and one female 13-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, a female German shepherd dog, a female 24-week-old Labrador retriever, one male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, one female and one male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male pit bull terrier and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Additionally, five male 8-week-old puppies, a female and a male 5-week-old puppies and a male dog, all mixed breeds, were being fostered.

A boy was born Tuesday, August 16, 2022, to Aricka Wolfchief and Jaron Calfrobe of Box Elder.
