Shulund garden is a beautiful escape

On the corner of Ford Avenue and 14th Street W. is one of the most beautiful escapes you can find here in Havre, MT. Donna Shulund and her late husband, Mel, designed and built the garden throughout many wonderful years together.

As a passerby, you can view the front patio filled with bountiful flowers. However, as you walk through, there are multiple raised beds full of peppers, garlic, cabbage, kale and so much more that are all watered by hand. A charming apple tree right on the corner, providing just enough shade to sit back and enjoy the view consisting of a beautiful pond filled with Koi fish and a rushing waterfall.

Strolling deeper into the garden you pass multiple raspberry bushes soon to find a flower filled pergola with passionflower vine growing throughout. A beautiful set up for enjoying coffee in the morning or having supper outside as the vines and flowers provide the right amount of shade while letting just enough light shine through.

The Shulund's garden truly represents a labor of love.
