Havre Police Department

A 15th Street West caller reported Monday at 10:54 a.m. that his truck had been spray painted.

A summons was issued after a caller reported finding a toddler walking down Fifth Avenue at noon Monday. No details on charges were provided.

A theft from the previous night was reported at a First Street business Monday at 3:33 p.m.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 6:38 p.m. asking to speak with an officer.

Trey Cole Stiffarm of Havre, 23, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported a man passed out at 7:44 p.m. Monday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Monday 8:07 a.m. vehicle crash on 49th Street West was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Christopher Paul Hammond of Hingham, 23, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Courthouse Monday at 11:04 a.m.

Jorge Perez of Great Falls, 40, was arrested on federal warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 12:23 p.m.

--

A caller on County Road 100 South reported theft of gravel Monday at 4:57 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters responded to two calls in the 24-hour period from Monday morning to Tuesday morning: a good intent call on the 3400 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East and a fire alarm on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue. Times were not provided for the calls.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Sunday morning held seven 9-week-old kittens, three 7-week-old kittens and two 5-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, six female cats, four male cats, two male and one female 11-week-old kittens and a female 18-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, a female 22-week-old Labrador retriever, a male Labrador retriever, three male and a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog and a male pit bull-border collie cross, plus a male mixed-breed dog was being fostered.
