Havre Police Department

A caller on Fifth Avenue reported finding a little kid's red bike Friday at 9:21 a.m.

A shoplifting incident from July 23 was reported by a caller at a First Street business Friday at 11:41 a.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash was reported at Fourth Avenue and Fourth Street at 1:46 p.m. Friday.

--

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department Friday at 6:45 p.m. on Second Street.

--

Codie Darwin Nalder of Havre, 28, was arrested on a probation violation charge while officer's were assisting Probation and Parole in the area of Eighth Street and 12th Avenue at 10:40 a.m. Saturday.

Someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 2:43 p.m. asking to speak with officers about an issue concerning a family member.

A Cleveland Avenue caller reported Saturday at 4:11 p.m. returning home to find the house had been broken into.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 4:24 p.m. Saturday that $400 was taken from a vehicle.

--

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department on a call at Montana State University-Northern Sunday at 2:27 a.m.

A 14th Street West caller reported Sunday at 4:42 p.m. that a vehicle had been spray painted.

Mary Ruth Demontiney of Rocky Boy, 60, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 4:52 p.m. asking for assistance.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tiffany Crystal Evans of Havre, 35, was issued a summons on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and Insley Darris Evans of Scobey, 42, was arrested on two state District Court warrants after deputies were asked Friday at 8:08 p.m. to assist another agency at Great Northern Fairgrounds.

Deputies investigated an assault report from a Third Street North establishment at 12:42 a.m. Saturday.

Dannie E. Gingerich, 25, Albert Gingerich, 21, Tobias S. Gingerich, 20, all from Clarissa, Minnesota, and Gilliana Esperanza Lopez-Arevalo of Dear Creek, Minnesota, 18, were each issued a summons on a trespass to property charge after deputies investigated suspicious activity near Fresno Dam Sunday at 7:54 a.m.

Crystal Michelle Blatt of Havre, 47, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Sunday at 6:03 p.m.

Milo Montgomery Moore of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on charges of driving without vehicle insurance and no driver's license after a vehicle stop at Second Street and Eighth Avenue West Sunday at 10:21 p.m.

An arrest was made on Wilson Avenue while assisting someone at 2:14 a.m. Monday. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Shawnte Sky Geboe of Rocky Boy, who was named as an involved party, was listed in Monday's jail roster as being held on charges of driving under the influence and driving without a valid driver's license.

Montana Highway Patrol

Trooper Tyrel Hendrickson said three people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 2 east of Chinook Sunday at around 7:37 a.m. The vehicle was headed east and ended up in the ditch on the north side of the highway near mile marker 412 after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The occupants were treated in a local medical facility. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but alcohol use is suspected, Hendrickson said.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Friday, seven calls Saturday and one call Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls over the weekend: a Saturday 11:56 a.m. call to the 500 Block of Seventh Street for a gas odor and a 2:22 a.m. call to the 1200 Block of First Avenue for a fire call that just needed an alarm reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Sunday morning held seven 8-week-old kittens, three 7-week-old kittens and two 5-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, six female cats, four male cats, two male and one female 11-week-old kittens and a female 18-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, a female 22-week-old Labrador retriever, a male Labrador retriever, three male and a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a male pit bull-border collie cross, plus a male mixed-breed dog was being fostered.
