Several current and former Havre Blue Pony athletes performed well at last weekend's Big Sky State Games in Billings.
In running, current Blue Pony Caleb Tomac won the boys 15-18 5K, and the overall race with a time of 16:22.01, setting a new Big Sky State Games record in the process. Brody Henry, another current Pony, also finished ninth.
In tennis, HHS junior Carter Spangler won the boys singles 16-under, while former Pony Josh Currie won the 18-under boys singles. Currie and Caleb Spangler took third in the 18-under boys doubles.
In junior track and field, Havre's Kaydence Reiter won the 14-16 girls 55 meters and 200 meters, while Chloe Shennum placed first in the 16-18 girls 400 and 800 meters. Former Pony Sadie Filius got second in both 16-18 hurdles, and North Star's Carter Campbell won the boys 16-18 in the 800 and 1,500 meters.
