Valley Furniture won the 14U softball championship, 12-11, over Montana Country Boutique Monday at Sixth Avenue Memorial Field. Despite their opponent rallying heading to the final inning, Valley Furniture scored a run in both the top of the fourth and the fifth innings to pull out the win.
On Monday night at Sixth Avenue Memorial Field, the 14U softball tournament held its championship game between Valley Furniture and Montana Country Boutique. It was a back-and-forth game, but Valley Furniture pulled out the 12-11 victory to win the 14U championship.
"I'm really excited," Valley Furniture player Olivia Keller said about winning the championship game. "I'm just glad we beat that team."
