Havre Police Department

An arrest was made after a 15th Avenue caller reported an assault Friday at 2:30 p.m. No details on charges were provided, but Jeremiah Francis Berger of Havre, 51, who was named as an involved party was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street at 11:44 a.m. Sunday and charges listed in the jail roster are failure to comply, aggravated assault and partner or family member assault.

A dirt bike was reported stolen Friday at 4:23 p.m. on First Street Northeast.

Kiauna Lynn Sutherland of Havre, 22, was issued a summons on a public nuisance charge after a caller complained about a loud party on Wilson Avenue Saturday at 2:06 a.m.

Meaghan Rose Tuomala of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of no driver's license, violation of child restraint law and failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance and a 16-year-old Box Elder girl was issued a summons on a charge of no driver's license after a caller at a First Street business reported at 6:04 a.m. Saturday that people were yelling in the parking lot about trying to get a baby in the vehicle.

A caller reported a dead fawn on Fifth Avenue Saturday at 10:59 a.m.

Brandon James Belgarde of Havre, 28, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and unlawful restraint after a caller on First Street Northeast reported Saturday at 11:12 a.m. that a friend was abused by an ex the previous night.

A silver Toyota Prius was reported Saturday at 11:18 a.m. stolen during the night. The caller reported finding the vehicle at 12:56 p.m. at a First Street business.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 60, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a caller reported an intoxicated man sitting along First Street at 1:04 a.m. Sunday.

Francis Berger of Havre, 51, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street at 11:44 a.m. Sunday.

Leah Huntley of Havre, 44, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served on First Street West Sunday at 3:14 p.m.

Matthew Scott Puga of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault and trespass to property Sunday at 5 p.m.

Karin Parker Sunchild of Havre, 53, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on First Street Northeast reported an intoxicated woman.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 16th Street Northeast caller reported an assault Friday at 5:34 p.m.

An arrest was made after a caller on 34th Avenue South reported a drunk driver Saturday at 2:13 a.m. No additional details were available on the dispatch log.

Adam Michael Bachmeier of Havre, 35, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 10:25 a.m.

A dog bite was reported Saturday at 4:39 p.m. at the hospital.

Officers investigated a complaint at a Box Elder establishment reported at 11:34 p.m. Saturday.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on Road 90 South Sunday at 11:49 a.m.

John Melvin Birdtail of Havre, 29, was arrested after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported an assault Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Charges were not listed in the dispatch log, but Monday's jail roster listed Birdtail as being held on charges of partner or family member assault, three counts of violation of a suspended sentence, two counts of failure to comply, two counts of failure to appear, and theft

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported two people were trying to break into a vehicle.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, three calls Saturday and four calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to one call Friday in the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 9:58 p.m., one call Saturday on the 300 Block of First Street West at 6:41 p.m. and two calls Sunday with no time or location listed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 2-week-old kittens, two cats and one 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two female 15-week-old kittens, two female cats, five male cats and a female 13-week-old kitten. Another four 10-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held two male mixed breed dogs, a male border collie, a female 9-month-old border collie puppy, three male and one female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. Also a male 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, three female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.
