Havre Police Department

A Friday 10:18 a.m. call from Lincoln Avenue that someone stole the caller's guns was linked to an investigation started in response to a 5:52 p.m. call of a man attempting to get onto a Lincoln Avenue property and a Saturday 11:42 a.m. report from the original caller saying that his landlord had his guns and money.

A caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 4:31 p.m. having more information on a shoplifter from the previous night.

Officers were asked Friday at 7:11 p.m. to assist someone in the Havre area.

A caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 11:44 a.m. having more information on a past shoplifter.

Jose Natalio Garcia Jr. of Chinook, 58, was arrested on charges of vehicle theft and vehicle recovered from another agency after a be-on-the-lookout-order for a stolen car was called in from Blaine County Saturday at 7:26 p.m.

A First Street caller reported Saturday at 9:34 p.m. that someone stole a cellphone.

A beer theft was reported at a First Street West business Saturday at 11:36 p.m.

--

A Seventh Avenue caller asked Sunday at 1:07 a.m. for assistance with a light bulb that is buzzing.

A caller at a First Street establishment reported at 1:19 a.m. Sunday that a man punched and broke the front door.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 8:07 a.m. to make a complaint about a parenting plan violation.

--

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a negligent arson charge after officers assisted another agency in the alley of Seventh Street Sunday at 5:49 p.m.

Sunshine Main of Hays, 41, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served after a First Street Northeast caller reported seeing a neighbor get assaulted.

Mitchell Dean Meagher of Havre, 55, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, reckless driving, expired registration, open container in the city and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller at a First Street business reported a gas drive off Sunday at 8:04 p.m.

Zackary Eagle Sutherland of Havre, 27, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Alexcia Lynn Eagleman of Havre, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a Third Street caller reported people sitting in a car arguing Monday at 1:26 a.m.

A caller on First Street Northeast reported Monday at 2:54 a.m. catching two women slashing the caller's tire.

Aariana Marie Horn of Havre, 22, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault related to a Monday 5:27 a.m. report of a woman fighting with her children.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked Friday at 9:45 p.m. to assist another agency.

A vehicle crash was reported on Seventh Avenue North Friday at 11:50 p.m. Firefighters and an ambulance responded to the scene, but the Montana Highway Patrol incident website listed the crash as a non-injury crash.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Sunday at 8:02 a.m. near Fresno Reservoir Road and Tailwater Road.

Michael Paul Russette of Box Elder, 33, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to property and on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a Box Elder establishment reported a man threatening people with a knife in the parking lot.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers investigated two injury crashes in Blaine County Saturday.

Trooper Matt Erickson said MHP was informed Saturday at 8:50 a.m. a man driving a non-street-legal dirt bike lost control near Wallen Road and Lonesome Road was injured after losing control of the bike on the gravel road, overcorrected and crashed in the ditch. The driver, the only person on the bike, sustained head injuries and was transported to Northern Montana Hospital, then flown to the hospital in Great Falls. The incident is still under investigation, Erickson said.

MHP was notified of the other Saturday crash at 9:37 p.m. near mile marker 399 on U.S. Highway 2 east of Chinook. The investigating trooper was not available to provide details.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, one call Saturday, one call Sunday and two calls early Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to three calls over the weekend. The first call was accompanying an ambulance to a motor vehicle crash to the 700 Block of First Street North Friday at 11:51 p.m. The second call was listed only as occurring on Saturday, and the third call was Sunday to the 200 Block of Seventh Street at 5:46 p.m. No one was made available to provide more information.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 14-week-old kittens, three 11-week-old kittens and one 12-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, one female cat, a male 12-week-old kitten and four male cats. Two cats and a 6-month-old kitten of unknown gender were being held separately at the shelter and another four 9-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a mixed breed dog of unlisted gender, a male border collie, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 8-month-old border collie puppy, three male and one female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. And a male 7-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.
