Obituary - Patty Jo Klundt

Patty Jo Klundt, born March 7, 1948, met Jesus June 9, 2022.

Truly another “Daughter of the Prairie” has finished her course, following her Mother, Gladys and Grandmas Martha and Matilda — all long-suffering, now at last reunited with her beloved father, Elmer.

Patty Jo loved family gatherings, holding our babies, remembering birthdays, reporting news, playing cards and marbles, puzzling, attending wee ones worship and praying for people.

She made her bed every day, lining it with her favorite stuffers; George being the last one she clung to until the end.

Psalm 121 states, “Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.”

Her last week was a journey with her maker, ending with a prayer for her that she be made perfectly well, as mentioned in Matthew 14:36: “And they desired of him that they might only touch the hem if his garment. And as many touched it were made perfectly well,” and also a dream that awakened Twyla that she was taken up in the clouds to meet Jesus in the brilliant light, happy and whole — both at 4:45 a.m. — and quietly took her last breath at 5 a.m.

God answered our prayers and we give him all our praise. Bonnie, Debbie, and Kenny; family and friends.
