Hopa Mountain is now accepting applications for their Summer College Prep Retreat that will take place July 17-20 at Montana State University in Bozeman.
During this four-day retreat, students will participate in classes to learn about a diverse range of higher education and scholarship opportunities. Students also have the opportunity to live in the MSU dorms, though it is not required if they live in Bozeman or Livingston. The retreat is free-of-charge and meals will be provided for all participants.
The deadline for applications to the retreat is Thursday, June 30.
High school students must be accepted into one of the three Scholars of Promise programs in order to participate in the College Prep Retreat.
Hopa Mountain’s Scholars of Promise program provides Montana high school sophomores and juniors with training, mentoring, and support services to help them apply to and succeed at the colleges or universities of their choice. Hopa Mountain’s Scholars of Promise program is made possible through the support of the O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation, the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation, the Oro y Plata Foundation, the Gianforte Family Foundation, the Beim Foundation and Hopa Mountain members.
